The habits of managers who "Get Results"
- Translate decisions into actionable information: Decisions remain dreams unless someone acts on them. The "Get Results" manager translates decisions into clear action items and assigns them to appropriate people.
- Provide clear priorities: The "Get Results" manager understands that without clear priorities people multitask, the organization is not synchronized, and nothing gets done.
- Follow-up/follow through: The "Get Results" manager does not leave anything to chance and follows up in a disciplined manner. Following up not only conveys the sense of urgency, but also helps her/ him identify and quickly resolve execution issues.
And that's the Execution Management Minute for this week. |
